Bulldog Update

💙Brophy Values💙

Our character trait for the month of April is determination.

Determination is making a strong decision to finish something.

Hello Brophy Community,

This week, our school was lucky to have two incredible students step into the role of Principal for a Day! They took their responsibilities seriously and made a big impact. From walking the school to ensure our hallways stayed clean to sharing important messages with teachers, they embraced their leadership roles with enthusiasm. They also helped capture special moments by taking photos for our slideshow and took time to spread kindness by writing notes of encouragement and thanks. We are so proud of their hard work and dedication! Keep up the great work, future leaders!

March Madness fever has also hit our school...but with a twist! Instead of basketball, our students have been battling it out in an exciting Multiplication Madness Tournament! They’ve been sharpening their math skills, competing in fast-paced challenges, and showing incredible teamwork and determination. It’s been amazing to see their enthusiasm and growth! Stay tuned for the final round and see who will be crowned our Multiplication Champion!

We also had an incredible Variety Show that showcased the amazing talents of our students! From singing and dancing to science, drawing and rap performances, it was a night full of creativity, confidence, and community spirit. Thank you to everyone who participated and supported this unforgettable event!

At our recent community meeting, we focused on the theme of confidence and how we can support each other in becoming our best selves. Students shared their thoughts, answered questions, and walked away with strategies to boost their confidence in and out of the classroom. There was even time for a little dance party!

Speaking of confidence, our students who participate in SAGE have been sharing their presentations with students, staff, and caregivers! The projects were very creative and FULL of interesting information. Thank you Ms. Yocom de Romero!

This week, we are beginning our MCAS tests for grades 3-5. They will participate in ELA Session 1 this week, and ELA Session 2 next week. Please help support your student by making sure they get a good night's sleep before their test, have a good breakfast, and arrive to school on time. This is their opportunity to show what they know!

We’re so proud of our students for their hard work, enthusiasm, and positive energy this month! Let’s keep the momentum going! Stay tuned for more updates, and please consider joining our PTO who contributes so much to our students' learning experience!

Warm regards,

Principal Gould

✅Reminders✅

  • Riding the bus is a privilege. Please remind students to show respect by picking up their trash and not damaging the seats. Anyone that is found to be damaging a bus may be suspended from riding it.
  • Ask your students to check the lost and found! We have collected many sweatshirts, water bottles, jackets, and more already this year.
  • Please send important notes to the office. If you choose to send important information to school with your student, please let their teacher know so that we can remind them to check their backpack.
  • Please use the designated pick up and drop off locations.
  • Students who do not bring boots, gloves, a hat, and a jacket will still go outside for recess, but will not be allowed to play in the snow. If you need help with these items, please email Jeny Perez at jperez@framingham.k12.ma.us.
  • Need Food? Daniel's Table can help. Call (508) 405-0769 or email https://danielstable.org/.
